Services & Treatment
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
Chiropractic manipulative therapy (CMT) is a precise, controlled force applied to a specific region of the spine to improve joint movement, reduce muscle spasm, and relieve pain.
What other therapies do you offer?
We provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapies (Theragun, Medmassager, Pure Wave, IASTM, cupping), and additional modalities such as heat, cold, infrared laser, and vibration plate.
Do you offer massage therapy?
Not yet, but we're in the process of finding a provider we feel can best assist our patients' needs and help them achieve their goals. In the meantime, our chiropractic visits include 10 minutes of manual therapy (massage, scraping, etc.) focused on your area of concern to help you get through the days, weeks, and months ahead.
What is flexion/distraction?
It’s a spinal decompression technique used to aid recovery from bulging discs, relieve pressure on nerve roots, increase range of motion, and reduce muscle spasm.
Do you adjust areas other than the spine?
Yes, we offer extremity adjustments for shoulders, knees, elbows, wrists, jaw, and more to improve joint health, reduce inflammation, and enhance mobility.
What if I don’t want a manual adjustment or am in too much pain for one?
We use instruments like the Activator and the Arthrostim to provide relief for patients who are hesitant about manual adjustment, are in too much pain to receive it, or have medical indications that restrict it.
Do you take X-rays?
Yes.
Appointments
How do I make an appointment?
Appointments can be made over the phone, online, or in person for both new and existing patients.
What should I do as a new patient before my first visit?
Please arrive about 15 minutes early to complete any paperwork.
What can I expect during the first visit?
Your visit begins with any necessary paperwork, followed by a brief history of your current complaint and relevant medical history.
How long will my first visit take?
Plan on roughly 40–60 minutes for the first visit, which includes history taking, an orthopedic exam, range of motion testing, potential X-rays, and chiropractic treatment.
